What I Cover

I write mostly about baby gear. As a lifelong geek, I get a lot of fun out of sifting through all the information about gadgets and appliances out there, then buying the ones I like and putting them to the test.

When I'm not writing, I'm testing new products or brainstorming ways to make Dad's Picks even more helpful for you, the readers. Stuff like quizzes to help you decide between the products in one of our buying guides, or [calculators](/content/calculators/ "Check out Dad's Picks calculators for parents"/index.html) to estimate the cost of owning certain appliances.

Get to Know Me

I created Dad's Picks in December 2024, after becoming the dad of a beautiful baby boy. Until then, I hadn't realized just how scarce helpful information for parents was. From baby bottles to bottle washers, every purchase took hours of Google searches and YouTube videos.

So I set out to change this, and here we are.

I buy the products I cover with my own money — not just to write about them, as most reviewers on the internet do, but for my wife’s and my own parenting needs. And as a fellow parent, you can trust that I have your best interests at heart.
